once upon a time , i thought i knew myself so well . but as time passes by , i realize how much knowledge i lack in knowing myself . everyday i find something new , something so extraordinary , something i’ve never imagined . sometimes it’s good but sometimes it’s bad . but then again , i guess nothing’s perfect . everything & everyone have their flaws & those are what make each & one of them special . i used to want everything to work the way i wanted it to . i used to try to make things happen so that i’d be satisfied . but i realized that life isn’t fair & that i won’t always get what i want . all i can do is to just move on & live my life to the fullest . of course there will be times when i break down , regret the mistakes that i made in the past , & cry over the things that i no longer have . but i’m learning to stand back up & hope for the best in the present & the future . i’m still figuring myself out little by little , day by day . perhaps the goal of life isn’t to do what one desires to do but to gain knowledge of everything that’s around me . to just absorb the beauty & light of this world , & bring joy to the world .
